After a series of rather suspicious accounts have appeared, I have decided to enforce new rules as to the creation of new accounts. So please read this if you're about to create an account.
Please note, that these rules are not definite, disobeying them will not get you banned. If we believe your account to be the work of spambots, your account may be deleted without warning, following these guidelines will help prevent that.
1. Please use Capitals in your name.
For example, "Randomator" as opposed to "randomator". This helps us acknowledge you as a Human being.
2. Please do not use nonsense names.
Nonsense names refers to when you simply type random letters which make no grammatical sense. Such as "asdalsdj"
3. Please do not use "Google" as your profile's website.
It goes without saying that you shouldn't really put someone elses website into your profile, but if you use a site such as Google, it makes me think "Yep, spambot". I've yet to see someone do this (other than spambots), but I thought I'd better mention it just incase.
4. If you can, add an Avatar to your account.
This will help us acknowledge that you are Human, and intend to take this forum seriously. Obviously using obscene Avatars is out of the question.
5. Post.
Probably the most simple one, if you make a few intelligent posts that follow the Forum's rules, we can see that you're not just a machine. Though Spambots are known to post, they tend to only post advertisements or general spam, and it's highly unlikely that a good post will get you deleted.
These rules are "beta", so if you have any concerns or suggestions, please post them here. _________________ |
